Luna, the dog, was playing with her owner's boyfriend, pulling on a ball. When he mentioned some of her favorite words like "treat," "bone," and "car ride," Luna instantly perked up, dropping the ball and giving him her full attention. When he said "outside," she jumped off the bed and waited at the door wagging her tail. But when he showed her the ball again, she jumped back on the bed, ready to play. Later, when her owner mentioned "dinner," another favorite word, Luna looked at her expectantly, showing her understanding of these words.
