Concept:
Sound is something unseen but heard. The sound of rain is something we are familiar with, a rhythm that we like to listen to.
By visualising the unseen, how will these outcomes show the sound of rain without producing a sound piece?
I decided to make a system where the visual of the sound of rain will be produced with the vibrations of the speaker playing 7 different sounds of rain.
Drawing by using nature sounds, i design the system however the system takes over by producing visuals that i am not in control of. Using different mediums and tools to create a drawing machine that transforms sound energy into visual, i was reminded of the artist Brain Eno.
